Interactionswithotherpositions:Theprojectmanagerisapivotalpointintheorganisationandwillregularlyinteractwithallotherdepartments.

2.ScopeofFunction
TheProjectManagementDepartmentispartoftheoperationalfunction,undertheGen-eralManagerCGAM(Shanghai).ThegoalofprojectmanagementwithinCARBOGENAMCIS(Shanghai)istoensurethesuccessfuldeliveryofcustomerandcompanypro-jectswithinagreedtimingandbudgetaryconstraints.

3.DutiesandResponsibilities
?Theprojectmanagerisresponsibleandaccountableforthesuccessfuldeliveryofcustomerand/orinternalcompanyprojectswithinagreedtimingandbudgetary(manpower,infrastructureandmaterials)constraints.
?Foreachproject,theprojectmanagerwillcreateandmaintainanappropriateprojectplan.He/shewilldefineorconfirmtheresourcesrequiredandagreetheiravailabilityandschedulingwithfunctionalmanagersandproductionplanning.
?Settingupnewprojectsandinitiatingprojectexecution
?Financialprojectcontrolling
?Coordinationofinvoicingandwatchinginvoicepayments
?Foreachproject,theprojectmanagerwillcreateandmaintainaprojectriskassess-mentandmakerecommendationsregardingmitigationoftheidentifiedrisks.
?Foreachproject,theprojectmanagerwillmonitortheprogressagainstbudgettime-linesandrequiredquality,anticipatingpotentialvariancesandproactivelyminimisingthem.Whennecessary,theprojectmanagerwillinvolveandthensupportthecom-mercialfunctionin(itsresponsibilityfor)negotiating(budget)extensionswiththecustomer.
?TogetherwithlocalandglobalESH,QualityManagementandregulatoryaffairs,theprojectmanagerwillensurethattheprojectisconductedinamannercompliantwithallESH,qualityandregulatoryrequirements.
?Togetherwithlogisticsandsupportedbytheprojectteam,theprojectmanagerwillensurethatthesupplychainissetupwiththebestbalanceofcostandtimingagainstrisk,andwilloptimisethematerialflowsthroughtheproject.
?Togetherwithdevelopment,analyticaldevelopmentandmanufacturing,andsup-portedbytheprojectteam,theprojectmanagerwillguidethedevelopmentandmanufacturingphasesoftheprojecttodeliverthebestvalueofperformanceandriskagainstcost.Theresponsibilityanddecision-makingauthorityforwhichcommercialriskstoacceptduringaprojectliesultimatelywiththeprojectmanager.
?Attheendofeachproject,theprojectmanagerwillchairaprojectclose-outorre-viewmeetingtoanalyseandreportontheperformanceoftheprojectagainstitsob-jectives,timelineandbudget.
?Thenatureoftherolewillrequirethejobholdertoworkflexiblyregardinghoursandlocation.Dependingontherequirementsofindividualprojects,travelcanbeneces-saryeitherforthepurposeofworkingatotherDishman/CARBOGENAMCISsitesand/orforthepurposeofvisitingcustomers.
?Coordinationofcustomervisits

Communication：
?Theprojectmanageristheprimarylinktoexternalstakeholdersoftheexecutedpro-ject.Thisstakeholdersmightbethevariousinternaldepartments,otherDishman/CGAMsites,primarycontactsoncustomerside.
?Theprojectmanagerwillactivelymanagestakeholderrelationshipswithregardtobuildingtrustandmanagingexpectationsandperceptionsinbothdirections.
?Theprojectmanagershouldensurethatallcommunicationbetweentheinternalteamandwiththeexternalstakeholders(otherDishman/CGAMsites,customers,etc.)isappropriateincontentandfrequency,andthatreportsandotherdocumenta-tionarepreparedandcirculatedasnecessary.

Projectcapture：
?Theprocessofprojectcaptureisprimarilytheresponsibilityofthecommercialfunc-tion.However,theprojectmanagerwillassisthis/hercolleaguesinthecommercialfunctioninthescoping,costing,pricingorsellingofcommercialproposals,andintheagreementoftermsandconditionsforthedeliveryoftheresultingprojects.
?EvaluatenewpotentialprojectsintightcollaborationwiththerelevantR&Dandtechnicaldepartmentsandothersitesifappropriate
?Responsibletocreatecostandtimeestimatesinatimelymannerandwritethepro-posalaccordingly
?Followupofissuedquotesincollaborationwiththecorrespondingsalesmanagers

3.2TechnicalandExpertDuties
Technologytransfer:
?TechnologytransferisaspecialtypeofprojectthatconstitutesacorecompetenceofCARBOGENAMCISandthewiderDishmangroup.Thistypeofprojectisoneoftheprimaryresponsibilitiesoftheprojectmanagementgroup,particularlyregardingtransfersbetweenCARBOGENAMCISandDishmansites.
?Theprojectmanagerisexpectedtobeawareoftheoverallobjectives,capabilitiesandorganisationalstructureoftheDishmangroup.He/shewillworkcloselywithcol-leaguesatothersitestodelivercompliantandappropriatelydocumentedtechnologytransferprojects.
