1.TheprimarypurposeoftheAssociateDirector/Director,MedicinalChemistryistomanagethemedicinalchemistryprojectsonadaytodaybasis.Positionisresponsibleforleadingmedicinalchemistryprojects
appropriatelyandguidingthescientificdirectionofprojectstoensuretheymeetagreed-upondeadlines.
Positionisresponsibleformanagingthechemists/projectteamsunderhis/herleadership;
2.Workinginconcertwithpartnersinmolecularandcellularbiology,pharmacology,ADME,structural biology,chemicaldevelopment,andotherkeyfunctions;
3.Analyzescreeningdata,performliteraturereviews,design,propose,andexecutemedicinalchemistryplans,coordinatechemistryandbiologydatatosupportcompoundprogressionandpatentstrategies;
4.ParticipateinshapingandimplementingstrategiesthatsupportMedicinalChemistrygrowthobjectives;
5.Serveasascientificexpertinmedicinalchemistryandproviderecommendationsregardingnewtargetsand
emergingexternalopportunities;
6.Ensureoptimalinteraction/communicationandprovideupdatesonprojectstatusto******s;
7.WorkscloselywithChemistryDepartmentHeadprovidingrecommendationstoannualbudget;
8.Approvespurchaseordersofchemicalsandlabmaterialsforprojectteams.

任职要求Requirements
1.PhDinsyntheticormedicinalchemistryisrequired,preferablywithpostdoctoralexperience;
2.Atleast6+yearsofexperienceinthebiotechnologyorpharmaceuticalindustrywithaproventrackrecordof innovativeprojectsandkeycontributionstoclinicalcandidateselection;
3.BroadexperienceandprovenaccomplishmentsinafieldofMedicinalChemistry,preferablyinoneormorefieldsofoncologyandimmunology,withoperationalskillsformanagingdiscoveryprogramsatthelevelofa
teamleader;
4.Candidateswillhaveatrackrecordofsuccessfulcontributionsto,andleadershipof,innovativedrugdiscoveryprojects,exemplifiedbyarecordofpatentinventorship,conferencepresentationandpeer-reviewed
publication;
5.Expertknowledgeofmodernmethodsofsyntheticandmedicinalchemistrywithabilitytosuccessfullyandsimultaneouslyconductmedicinalchemistryonmultipleprojectsisrequired;
6.Solidunderstandingofcellular/molecularbiology,biochemistry,diseasepharmacology,mechanismsofdrugmetabolismandmoleculartoxicology,pharmaco-kineticandpharmaco-dynamicsciences,andthe
formulationsfortheinvivoevaluationofdrugcandidatesisrequired;
7.StrongknowledgeofcomputationalchemistrymethodsandworkingknowledgeofbiophysicalmethodssuchasX-raycrystallographyandmacromolecularNMRisrequired;
8.Candidatemusthavedemonstratedinfluence,negotiation,andconflictresolutionskills,includingtheabilitytosucceedasateamplayer;
9.StrongoralandwrittencommunicationsskillsinEnglish.FluentinChineseisaplusbutnotrequired.
