Main responsibility:

Build and lead the AI algorithm team to make real impact of>Lead the effort of developing innovative models to identify novel targets, predict drug bioactivity, ADMET, etc using advanced machine learning or deep learning approaches.Be responsible for the de novo design of diverse druglike and synthetic tractable novel chemical library with biased properties to support hit finding and further optimization.Provide expertise and leadership to enhance model accuracy, generalization, interpretation, automation, and applicability.Be able to solve critical issues and find technical directions to the teamCoordinate the cross-team and cross-function collaborations to support drug discovery projects, evaluate model performance, and interactively improve existing methods.Stay informed on the latest novel methodologies, tools, and applications.

Qualification Required:

Qualifications

PhD in computer science, data science, computational chemistry or biology, mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or related disciplines.Minimum of 5 years of algorithm development experience in industry. Pharma or biotech experience is preferred.Strong expertise in programming, scientific computing, and machine/deep learning etc.Hands-on experience of methodology or software development with tractable open-source contributions or scientific publications.Leadership experience in industry is preferred.Ability to effectively collaborate with cross functions.Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
