Director/Assistant Director, Cell Biology
Job Responsibility:
§
Be responsible to lead a team of cell biologists on execution of
designated projects
§
Design experimental approaches, draft study proposal in response
to ******s’ requests
§
Lead teams to plan and conduct the experiments, including but is
not limited to target validation by RNAi KD/CRISPR KO, compound screening with
a variety of cell-based assay formats, compound mechanism of action studies,
target biology studies, biomarker quantification, etc.
§
Be responsible to assay development, assay transfer and validation
of new assays
§
Analyze data, draft study report, and document the procedures and
data in notebooks
§
Maintain close and effective communication with ******s, report
study progress in a timely manner, through emails or teleconferences
§
Troubleshoot and provide ongoing guidance to team members as
needed
Requirements:
§
Ph.D. in Biology or Life Sciences with 3-10 years relevant
experience, preferably in an industrial setting;
§
Solid knowledge and understanding on cell and molecular biology, cell
signaling, and preclinical drug discovery is essential;
§
Must be proficient on mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays and
compound screening, with techniques such as cell transfection, stable cell line
generation, ELISA, Alphascreen, etc.; Experience with RNAi/CRISPR or lab
automation will be a plus;
§
Superb organization, communication and teamwork skills and strong
interpersonal skills to be able to effectively interact within ******s, team
members and other functional groups, must be capable of multitasking
§
Self-starter with high energy level, creative problem solver, eager
to learn new technology and skills
§
Must be proficient on both written and oral English

负责新测定方法的开发、转移和验证
分析数据，起草研究报告，并将过程和数据记录在笔记本上
与客户保持密切和有效的沟通，通过邮件或电话会议及时报告学习进展
为团队成员排除故障并提供持续的指导
要求:
生物学或生命科学博士学位，有3-10年相关工作经验，最好有工业背景;
对细胞和分子生物学、细胞信号转导和临床前药物发现有扎实的知识和理解是必不可少的;
必须精通哺乳动物细胞培养、细胞基础分析和复合筛选，使用细胞转染、稳定细胞系生成、ELISA、Alphascreen等技术;有RNAi/CRISPR或实验室自动化经验者优先;
优秀的组织、沟通和团队合作能力，强大的人际交往能力，能够与客户、团队成员和其他职能团队有效互动，必须具备多任务处理能力
积极主动，有创造力地解决问题，渴望学习新技术和技能
必须精通英语的书面和口语
