Discovery Biology，（Associate）Director/Senior Scientist

Job Description

This position is aimed to find candidates as:
1.A Biology Leader in a cross-function project team, and responsible for driving our in vitro drug discovery effort from initial target identification/validation to candidate nomination for IND-enabling studies;
2.Directly leads a group of biologists to design, establish and execute molecular biology, biochemistry and/or immune cell-based functional assays; Strong knowledge and experience with in vitro assays is a must.
3.Closely work with the in vivo Pharmacology team to develop and utilize animal models for disease biology understanding and drug candidate selection;
4.Collaborate with the Translational Research team to define the biomarker strategy;
5.Frequently review current literatures, contribute novel ideas, anticipate and provide solutions to technical/experimental challenges.


Qualification Required

PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or Immunology/Oncology or related disciplines;
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in academia or industry is preferred;
In-depth knowledge and extensive hands-on experience in primary immune cell characterization and immunoassay development;
Excellent scientific reporting and documentation capability;
Previous experience in antibody discovery is highly preferred;
The candidate should be enthusiastic, independent, well-organized, team player and collaborative.

工作职责描述

本职位旨在寻找以下候选人：
1. 跨功能项目团队的生物学带头人，负责推动我们的体外药物发现工作，从最初的靶点识别/验证到IND支持性研究的候选药物筛选；
2. 直接带领一组生物学家负责设计、建立和执行分子生物学、生物化学和/或基于免疫细胞的功能性体外实验；丰富的体外分析实验知识和经验是必须的。
3.与体内药理学团队密切合作，开发和利用动物模型来了解疾病生物学和候选药物的选择；
4.与转化医学团队合作，确定生物标志物策略；
5.经常阅读当前发表的文献，提出新的想法，预测和提供解决方案来应对技术性和实验上的挑战。


资格要求

分子生物学、细胞生物学或免疫学/肿瘤学或相关学科的博士学位；
至少5年学术界或工业界的相关工作经验（体外实验方法建立）者优先；
在免疫细胞鉴定和免疫分析实验方法开发方面的深入知识和广泛的实践经验；
优秀的科学报告和文件编写能力；
有抗体早期发现经验的候选人优先；
候选人应该对工作持有热情、能独立工作、组织良好、注重团队合作和协作。
