Position Summary
To apply technical expertise and/or experiences to design and execution of lab experiments in the process of animal used vaccine development. Show a high degree of independence in completing laboratory works/trials and critically analyzing/interpreting the data/results. Pursue a competent and experienced candidate with background of veterinary/aquatic bacteriology or virology or microbiology/immunology-relevant disciplines. This position is based in Suzhou.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform experiments independently in the realm of bacteriology/virology/clinical trials
• Actively contribute to team discussions.
• Conduct microbiological analytical tests to identify microbiological characteristics in phenotype & genotype
• Mainly work on vaccine development in the stages of pathogen characterization and antigen preparation.
• Write protocols, reports and technical documents in a timely manner for team work progress.
• Apply advanced technical and functional knowledge to the design of experiments for the development of fish vaccines
• Design, develop and validate analytical assays
• When appropriate, participate in sampling of bacterial/viral isolates from field animals in China.
• Participate in the non-project activities to ensure compliant and smooth lab operation.
• Troubleshoot and good communication capabilities

Requirements
• Master’s degree or above in Veterinary/Aquaculture/Microbiology or advanced knowledge in the field of bacteriology or virology
• Vaccine development or relevant experience is a preference
• Experienced in operating microbiological fermentation reactors.
• Critical and logical scientific mind-set.
• Good team player, self-driven, cooperative and accountable.
