PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Management responsibility for the daily operation of in vitro-China (including Taicang and Beijing) team.
• Help setting up standard procedures within the scope of scientific operation to continuously improve
organizational efficiency.
• Lead team to execute required tasks independently to achieve team’s goals, particularly the financial
objectives (top line-revenue and bottom-line profit).
• Responsible for external/internal research collaboration to advance key capability and build new technology
platform.
• Actively involved in ****** interaction, including teleconferences and presentations to ******s.
• Collaborate closely with different scientific departments and commercial teams of sales and marketing etc.
to support overall company tasks.
• Oversee the quality of science and report to ensure a productive performance and output.
• Manage a variety of scientific project to ensure timely delivery of quality results.
• Manage the department budget and financial performance to achieve the business’s revenue target.
• Lead, mentor, and train team members. Provide effective leadership including individual performance goal
setting, managing the development of entire team and all individuals, recognize and reward employee
contributions, planning and facilitating team activities.
• Leverage own extensive experience in preclinical drug development to lead and guide team members to
identify the opportunity of technology development in R&D and expand the scientific portfolio contribution
to discovery pipeline.
• Effectively manage the team to ensure high efficiency and productivity.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Ph. D degree in cancer biology and immunology, pharmacology, medicine or related discipline.
• 8+ years of research experiences in cancer biology, with extensive cell-based assays and screening. Broad
knowledge in molecular biology, cell biology and Pre-clinical drug discovery.
• At least 3 years solid management experience in building and leading high-performance teams.
• Industry experience in leading projects and performing lab research is required.
• Pre-clinical oncology/small or large molecule drug discovery experience is required.
• Experience in 3D culture or organoid culture is a plus.
• Experience in immunology or immuno-oncology is a plus.
• Experience in stem cell/primary cancer cell is a plus.
• Experience in liquid handling and screening automation is a plus.
• Experience in tumor and immune cells co-culture is a plus.
• Experience in T cell, NK cell, myeloid cell assays is a plus.
• Overseas work experience is a plus.
