KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Constant flow of business development projects throughout the region.
Successful licensing in and rollout of new products and projects to bridge strategic net sales and earnings gap.
Successful conclusion of co-promotion, co-marketing, in-licensing, dstribution deals
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS
10 + years’ experience in marketing preferably for a bio-pharmaceutical company or international company providing similar services to the healthcare industry, backed by demonstrated evidence of ability to develop and implement marketing plans and programs that drive business sales and profits, and establish strong competitive positioning in the marketplace, combined with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
“Hands-on” entrepreneurial minded business development professionals with established networking in the region.
Sound Life science education with successful commercial track-record and min 5 years experience in business development in the pharmaceutical industry.
Willing and able to travel frequently in the region.
Skills
Strong marketing skills, including strategic and brand management as well as tactical and marketing communications.
Proven ability to develop and implement marketing plans and programs that drive business sales and profits.
Strong analytical and financial skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships at the highest organizational level, display courtesy and sensitivity, negotiate and overcome objections with persuasion and persistence.
Ability to effectively coordinate cross-functional and cross-business teams and drive to resolution; good facilitator.
Customer-focused, demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction.
Proven manager with strong leadership skills.
Computer literacy in marketing-related programs, spreadsheets, presentation graphics.
Strong team player.
