Job Responsibilities
-Overall management of customs clearance and related logistic strategy within the BioChina organization in line with the global ECO strategy.
-Define an efficient throughput of import and export flow and ensure the compliance with export/import control and trade laws and regulations for BioChina.
-Design for the trade logistic overall process and coach the logistic team regarding goods importing and exporting.
-Lead the continuous optimization to establish robust process ensuring the key metric deliverables versus the target of safety, quality and cost.
-Have strong leadership and coach to the team, to develop people and build a stable and high performance organization.
-China Customs policy and authority relationship Management
-Design the BioChina customs clearance strategy based on fully understanding government policy and maximize the benefits it may bring
-Define the whole logistic flow and related regulation during customs clearance for importing and exporting goods for BioChina
-Manage the constructive relationship with external authorities and maximize the benefits of applicable policy and prospectively provide practical solution as per new regulations
-Facilitate the workshop which is organized by customs authority and BioChina to build the networking and understand the policy and practice innovation
-Lead and coordinate the customs authority visit for regular communication with BioChina high level management
Global networking management
-Drive the roll out of global ECO strategy and make it cultivated in BioChina
-Be the leader to work with global BioBU SLM colleagues for export/import of bio-manufacturing materials, intermediates, testing samples (incl. cells), drug substances and final drug products
-Deploy the global ECO and MSO policy and innovation within BioChina.
-Lead the audit from global ECO and MSO for BioChina
Local customs clearance& trade logistic management
-Build strong connections with other functions, construct a harmonized cooperation environment and continuously improve the service level.
-Coach the related functions how to prepare the documents for customs clearance
-Lead the customs clearance and logistic work which provided by transportation vendor for whole goods importing/exporting flow
-Define effective and efficient solutions regarding export/import trade management for CMO projects to support business growth
-Manage the customs clearance agents, forwarder, etc.
-Design the template of all relevant customs documents for import / export
-Build the tracking system of quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Other responsibilities
-Manage the dangerous goods importing and exporting process to ensure compliance with China regulations.
-Attend the basic EHS training and pass the test such as fire safety, health check & personal protection, unsafe behavior, instant report and so on.
-Propose EHS suggestion and complete the finding CAPA on time. Track the near miss and EHS concern follow actions.
-Ensure the compliance of international trading activities for BioChina
-Lead the customs authority auditing and cooperate with all BioChina internal functions for audit preparation and CAPAs tracking
-Ensure the quality of the importing and exporting goods quality during customs clearance logistic
-Be familiar with GMP and customs clearance&logistic SOP, sort and summarize practice for coaching other people
-Attend the quality culture and AAI training on time.
-Demonstrate AAI in the daily work and share the success story within organization.
-Deliver systematic training on customs clearance&logistic management knowledge and real practice to related functions.
-Seeking for continuous improvement in all areas

Qualifications
-Education/Degree Requirements:Bachelor at least
-Preferred major in customs clearance or international trade management
-Minimum of 10 year management experience of customs clearance or international trade management regarding importing/exporting
-Preferred work experience in customs clearance company
-Effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to details
-Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work cohesively with multiple teams and build strong relationships with our internal and external partners
-Assertive and persistent
-Influencing, relationship building, and effective facilitation
