PositionSummary:
TheFacilitiesandEngineeringManagerisresponsiblefortheavailability,reliabilityandsupportofbuildingutilities,facilityservicesandmanufacturingequipmentfortheoperationalareasofthebusinessinorderthattheycanachievetheplanstosatisfycustomerrequirements.Onadaytodaybasisthiswillbeachievedthroughthemanagement,coachinganddevelopmentofthefacilityandengineeringteamalongwiththeintroductionofappropriatetechnologyandworkingpractices.Theseactivitieswillbecarriedoutinaccordancewithcurrentstatutory,regulatoryandcompanysafetyandqualitystandards.
SuccessinthisaspectoftherolewillbedemonstratedthroughimprovingKeyPerformanceIndicator’sforbuildingutilities,facilityservicesandequipmentdelivery,availabilityandperformance,safeandqualitycompliantfacilityoperations,developmentofacapableandcompetentteamandgrowingprofitabilitythroughreducingthecostperunitmeasures.

KeyResponsibilities:
1.Quality:Toimplement,maintainandmeasurewithinthefacilitiesandengineeringarea,aframeworkforcomplianceandongoingimprovementinqualityperformanceandrightfirsttimeculture.Thiswillbeinaccordancewithstatutory,regulatoryandcompanystandards,proceduresandsystemsregardingrelevantcGMPandQualitySystemsintheworkplace.
2.CustomerAllegiance:Toensuretheavailabilityandreliabilityofbuildingutilities,facilityservicesandmanufacturingequipmentfortheoperationalareasinorderthattheycanachievetheplanstosatisfycustomerrequirements.Thiswillbeachievedthroughthealignmentandprovisionoffacilityandengineeringresourceinaccordancewiththebusinessplan.
3.Team:Tomanage,coachanddevelopaneffectiveandmotivatedteamtoachieveteam,departmentalandbusinessobjectives.Toco-operateincross-functionalteamstoremovebarriersandtimelags.Toplanandeffectivelyutilizetheirareatrainingbudgettoimprovetheirteam’scontributiontotheoverallbusinessperformance.Totakeresponsibilityfortheirowndevelopmenttoincreasetheircontributiontothebusinessperformance.ToapplycompanyHRpoliciesconsistentlythroughouttheirareaofmanagerialresponsibility.
4.Improvement&Efficiency:Toidentifyandimplementtechnologybasedandworkingpracticesolutionsdesignedtoreducetheoverallcostperunitmeasures.Tolead,participateandcontributetoPracticalProcessImprovement(PPI)projectsthatdeliverthebusinessobjectivesinacosteffectivemanner.
5.Fiscal:Toprepareandmanagetheirannualdepartmentalbudget.Toimplementandmanagefinancialmeasuresthatmonitorsthefacilityandengineeringareasperformanceanddrivecontinuousimprovementinacost-effectivemanner
6.EnsuresallequipmentandmachineryconditionmeetsSOPstandards.
7.Responsibleforinspectionandcarryingoutofcleaningprocedureaftereachproduction.WorkcloselywithQAdepartmenttoensurestandardsaremetaftereachcleaning.
8.Ensurestheyarelogbookinplacetodocumenteveryprocessinvolvingfacility,equipmentandmachinery.
9.Timelyprovisionofreportsandotherinformationtoclientsandinternalteam.
10.Ensuresfacility,equipmentandmachineryarewellmaintainedandiscleanallthetime.
11.WorkingcloselywithQA,clientservicedepartment,packagingprojectmanagement,operationstomeetinternalandexternalclients’requirements.
12.Leadinprocessoffacility,equipmentandmachinerymapping,calibrationandvalidation.
13.Ensuresiftherearelicensesorcertificateinvolvedtheyarerenewedandareuptodate.
14.Tocloselyworkwithprojectteam,packagingprojectmanagementteamanddrugsupplyteamtoensurehighcustomersatisfactionbyprovidingexcellentoperation
15.Managesallsuppliers’contractandworkwithrelateddepartmenttoensuretheyarerenewedontime.
16.Hasnoauthorityinmakinganyfinancialdecision.

Education:HNDorhigherinEngineeringorTechnicaldiscipline/BachelorDegree/FacilitiesManagementqualification

3.Projectmanagement.
4.Budgetmanagement.
