Task:
Position: Major Tasks
A. General Ledger:
1) Check postings performed by GL accountants to ensure accuracy of
financial records
2) Support team leader to monitor the work of junior accountants
3) Participate in the quarterly global accounting Jour Fixe during
which changes to company process standards are communicated and analyze
the impact on responsible companies in order to implement changes in
the ERP system (SAP)

B. Closing:
1) Define and implement closing calendar
2) Coordinate monthly closing activities with relevant parties to
ensure closing steps are completed according to pre-defined timeline
3) Feedback on closing and follow up of closing issues with all parties
involved (i.e. business partner, central accounting, GL accountants,
AP/AR, etc.)
4) Develop expertise in closing and provide support to solve issues
encountered during closing

C. Reporting:
1) Develop expertise in reporting to support monthly/quarterly global
report (BMR/BKA) in Bayer reporting system
2) Serve as reporting key contact to facilitate the communication with
global office and accounting platform
3) Participate in the quarterly pre-BKA meeting and lead the alignment
of actions with accounting platform
4) Follow up of reporting on quarterly basis - including feedback to
Accounting platform, reposting of reporting adjustments (ATN) in the
system, and corrections of business warehouse queries issues

D. Assets Management:
1) Monitor the accuracy of Asset Accounting master data
2) Support team leader to review the work of junior accountants and
provide necessary guidance

E. Audit and Control & Others:
1) Review statistic reports and other internal ad-hoc reports
2) Ensure processes are in compliance with Bayer ICS controls

Education:
? A bachelor degree, preferable in finance and accounting.

Skills/experiences
? Above 4 years working experience in finance/accounting dept. or other
similar positions and basic knowledge on system settings and internal
controls
? Knowledge of Bayer Group accounting and reporting requirements
(BRIDGE and BKA) is preferred
? Strong interpersonal and communications skills
? Good command of English (both written and spoken)
? Experience with ERP Accounting Software/SAP is required
? Familiar with MS office and related software
