PURPOSE目的
This role is a combination of NPI and CPE engineer. He/She will provide engineering support from new product introduction to the end of product life circle.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES主要工作职责

NPI:
? Provides concurrent design supports to R&D team and contract manufacturer for timely introduction of products in terms of process and testing development, validation, and product quality.
? Leads the NPI transition activities from design to manufacturing and coordinates the prototyping in the each stages of design.
? Coordinates the DFM review for the new products under the development and advises R&D on product and process improvement to improve current process and quality of product based on DFM/T reviews and inputs from manufacturing.
? Monitors and analyzes on contract manufacturer's production process and quality data in the period of prototyping and ramp up.

CPE:

? Provides CPE supports to Contract Manufacturer for identified products in terms of
- Playing the material engineer role in the SCN process
- Coordinating the implementation of changes
- Driving the root cause identification for process/material/product issues
- Ensure the Correction and Preventive Activities (CAPA) defined, implemented, and documented compliant to the QS requirements
- Contributing on cost saving through process optimization/improvement
- Reviewing the regular in-process, RMA, and field failure reports and monitoring the production process for subassemblies and finished products
? Qualifies new/second source of components due to EOL, obsolescence, and replacement etc.
? Initiates EC for changes of existing p
