TheroleofthepostholderistoassistintheprovisionofaStatisticalProgrammingservice.TheprimaryactivityoftheStatisticalProgrammerAnalystistodevelopandreviewSASprogramsandoutputforthemanagementandreportingofclinicaltrialdata.Aftersufficientexperience,actasaLeadProgrammer.

EssentialJobDuties:

?DevelopandreviewSASspecifications,programsandoutputforthecreationofADaMandclient-definedanalysisdatasets,tables,listingsandgraphsinsupportofStatisticalAnalysisPlans
?Interactwithprojectteammembersinrelateddisciplinese.g.ClinicalDataManagement,ClinicalandBiostatistics.
?Assumeteammemberresponsibilities,includingrepresentingStatisticalProgrammingatinternalprojectteammeetingsandwithsupportfromseniorStatisticalProgrammingstaffatclientmeetings.
?Demonstrategoodproblemsolvingskills,aproactiveapproachandawillingnesstomakedecisions,seekingadvicefromseniorStatisticalProgrammingstafftoconfirmdecisionswhennecessary.
?WithsufficientexperienceassumetheroleofaLeadProgrammerforassignedprojects.
?UnderstandscopeofprojectinordertoadviseSeniorStatisticalProgrammingstaffofchangesinscopeofprojectstoenablethetimelydevelopmentofchangeorders.
?Assistwithtraining,mentoringofStatisticalProgrammersunderthesupervisionofseniorStatisticalProgrammingstaff.
?ParticipateintheStatisticalProgrammingreviewofCaseReportForms(CRFs),annotatedCRFs,databasestructuresandstudyrelateddocumentation
?Reviewdraftandfinalproductionrunsforprojectstoensurequalityandconsistency.
?Ensurethefilingofstudydocumentationismaintainedtothestandardrequiredaccordingtoprocessesandacceptableforaudit.
?Prioritizepersonalworkloadtomeetspecifiedcompletiondates.
?CarryoutallactivitiesaccordingtoCovanceSOPsworkingwithintheframeworkoftheQualityManagementSystemandtoGoodClinicalPractice(GCP).
?PerformotherdutiesasassignedbyseniorStatisticalProgrammingstaff.

II.Experience:
Required:
?18monthsto5yearsexperienceasStatisticalProgrammerformanagementandreportingofclinicaltrialdata.
?DemonstratedskillsintheuseofSAS
?Goodtimemanagementskillsandtheabilitytoworktotightdeadlineswhilstmaintainingthehigheststandardsofwork
?AwarenessandappreciationofthebusinessneedsofaCRO
?Effectivecommunicationskills.
?Cooperativeandteam-orientedapproach.
?Selfmotivationandabilitytoworkindependently


III.Education/Qualifications:

MinimumRequired:
?BScinacomputing,lifescience,mathematicalorStatisticalsubject.
?Ahighcomputingcontentisconsideredtobebeneficial,howeverprovencomputingskillsaremostimportant.
?Alternativeacademicqualificationsorexperienceareassessedtoensureequivalentbackground.
