PURPOSE
Provideprojectrelatedsupportandassistanceforassignedprojectsandprojectteamsbyassistinginrelatedproceduresandperformingtasksassociatedwiththeprotocolphases;ensureworkisconductedinlinewithstandardoperatingprocedures,policiesandgoodpractice;andleadprojectclose-outsprocessesasrequired.
RESPONSIBILITIES
？UseknowledgeofProtocolspecificandroutinetaskstoensureoutputsaredeliveredinlinewithorganizationalstandardsandclientexpectations.
？Conducttasksthatsupportallphasesoftherelevantproject-specificprotocol,includingbutnotlimitedtogivinginputintothedesignofthemonitoringplantoadequatelymonitortheprojectandcompletionofprotocol-specificlaboratorymanualsandflowchartsandleadingprojectclose-outprocessesandorone-regionstudies;mayleadsmallcomplexglobalstudyundersupportfromthelinemanager.
？Prepareandmaintainprojectdocumentationfilesandupdateandmaintaininternaldatabaseswithprojectspecificinformation.
？Coordinateinformationandcommunicationsfordesignatedprojectsatthesitelevel,includingidentificationandescalationofdiscrepancies.
？Liaisewithotherdepartmentsandsupportservices(e.g.LogisticsDepartment,courierservices)inordertoexpeditethetransportationofpatients’laboratoryspecimens.
？Performtechnicalreviewsandfeedbackcommentsandchangestoprojectmanagers.
？Participateinexternalandinternalaudits.
？Maintaineffectivesystemsforprojectdocumentation.
？Developandpresentinformationeffectivelytointernal&externalaudiences,wheretheinformationisspecifictotheroleandprotocol,suchaslessonslearned,auditsandsharingbestpractices(e.g.departmenttraining).
？ContributetothedevelopmentInvestigatorMeetingpresentations.
？LiaisewithstudySponsorasrequired.
？Submitrevisionrequestsand/orbudgetre-pricingrequestsonbehalfoftheProjectManager;recognizebudgetimpactofchangetoprojectscopeandmaycommunicatebudgetchangeimpactstoclient.
？BeknowledgeableofmonitoringplansperformedbythePC–RTstaff.Thisincludestheday-to-dayrunningofdesignatedprojects,includingpatientspecimenmanagementreceipt,pendinglabanalyses,andtestresultapprovalsandreportsandotherdutiesasdetailedintheproject-specificmonitoringplan.
？Mentorandassistintrainingmorejuniorstaff,includingprojectcoordinators.
？Leadclientcallsanddiscussionsforaoneregionstudy,asrequired;escalatepointsandorinformationaccordingly.
？Maymanagetheentireprojectmanagementprocessforaoneregion,lowcomplexitystudywiththeoversightofaProjectManager.
？MayhostProjectLaunchmeetingsorotherinternalmeetingsonbehalfoftheProjectManager.
？Mayprovideback-uptotheProjectManagerinperiodsoftheProjectManager’sabsencefromtheoffice.
？Contributetoprocessimprovementinitiatives
