Scientist to lead NGS development
Onboard the BioAnalyzer to confirm quality of DNA/RNA
Onboard Minion
Lead pipelines for WGS, RNAseq from plates/tanks
Lead integration of NGS for enzyme engineering

工作职责 ：
1、 领导公司新一代测序程序开发，利用minION sequencer以及BioAnalyzer进行平台搭建以及定序流程创建；
2、 根据公司研发需求，开发针对孔板或发酵罐生产样板之测序应用，例如全基因定序或核糖核酸测序；
3、 设计并开发酶工程相关之测序应用，例如酶文库定序；
4、 与生物信息科学家合作开发定序数据处理程序；
5、 紧密跟踪最新测序技术发展动态，发展战略对新一代测序相关的创工作职责
• 针对各种样本准备 NGS 文库以对进行测序，包括 DNA 质粒文库、全基因组和
RNA。• 使用 Bioanalyzer 分析 DNA/RNA 样本质量。
• 将多路复用技术应用于混合样品以降低成本和分析时间
• 与自动化成员密切合作，开发和使用液体处理器 (Biomek) 进行样品制备。协助优
化工作以提高样本处理量和效率。
• 操作长读测序（Oxford Nanopore）和短读测序（Illumina）仪器。
• 确认数据质量，并与计算团队合作分析和绘制数据。
• 保持清洁和有组织的工作区域。
• 在协作的团队环境中工作。
• 彻底理解所执行的任何工作的目标和概念。
• 每天更新电子笔记本条目并确保使用任务管理软件进行适当的沟通。
任职要求
• 生物学、生物科学、生命科学和/或相关领域的硕士或本科学位（1 年以上经验）
• 分子生物学方面的实践技能专业知识，例如 PCR、DNA/RNA 分离、核酸定量、
微生物培养生长、培养基优化、活性测定
• 具有下一代测序经验为佳，但非必须
• 工作习惯有组织并注重细节，按照公司标准作业程序进行操作并详细记录过程及结
果
• 出色的分析和解决问题的能力
• 优秀的沟通和人际交往能力

Responsibilities 

• Prepare NGS libraries to sequence various samples including DNA plasmid
libraries, whole genomes, and RNA. 

• Prepare DNA/RNA samples and analyze quality using Bioanalyzer.

• Apply multiplexing technology to pool samples to reduce cost and analysis time 

• Work closely with automation members to develop and use liquid handler
(Biomek) for sample preparation. Assist in optimization efforts to improve
throughput and efficiencies. 

• Operate long-read sequencing (Oxford Nanopore) and short-read (Illumina)
instruments. 

• Confirm data is high quality and work with Computation team to analyze and plot
the data. 

• Maintain clean and organized work areas. 

• Work in a collaborative team setting. 

• Thoroughly understand the goals and concepts of any work performed. 

• Update electronic notebook entries daily and ensure proper communication using
task management software.
Qualifications 

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (with 1+ year experience) in Biology, Biological
Sciences, Life Science, and/or a related field 

• Hands-on skills expertise in molecular biology such as PCR, DNA/RNA isolation,
nucleic acid quantification, culture growth, media optimization, activity assays 

• Previous experience with next-generation sequencing is encouraged but not
required

• Must be organized and detail-oriented following set protocols and record
keeping. 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Desire to learn and grow, to be part of a rapidly growing and changing company
