Job Title: Area Sourcing Manager
Reporting to China Office head Will LIU.
Job description:
Being part of the Suanfarma Group Sourcing team in China office, main tasks:
Reply corresponding area managers’ inquiries on time (24/48 hours) in salesforce, provide COA, MSDS, GMP copy and DMF as required from area managers on time;
Negotiate the price with the suppliers to meet the target prices from area managers in order to help the area managers to get the POs from end users;
Visit and verify the suppliers’ factories to approve the qualified suppliers for important/urgent projects’ monthly;
Build good relationship with the key suppliers for the corresponding area managers;
Follow up and make sure all pending POs delivery can be shipped out on time to meet the ******’s required ETD time;
Negotiate the payment terms and try to get longer credit days from the suppliers, follow up the payment to the suppliers;
Adhering to all company policies with particular regard to accounting procedures and update the suppliers documents & prices information into the online SALESFORCE system.
Follow-up with suppliers on closing of documentation related gaps and translate COA & TP documents into English to reduce supply chain response time.

Job Requirement: Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience.

Desired: Resident Chinese national having Bachelor of Science preferably in Chemistry or pharmaceutical industry.
Minimum 2-3 years of enterprise level experience in assisting strategic sourcing, supply chain management and/or procurement for Pharmaceutical API & Intermediates.
·Knowledge of Sourcing of Chemicals, Intermediates, APIs& Packing materials –Pharmaceuticals
·Negotiation and strong interpersonal skills
·Communication skills both verbal and written in English& Chinese.
·Supplier relationship management
·Knowledge of ERP, Logistics and other technical systems to streamline operations
·Knowledge of Quality Management Systems w.r.t. cGMP requirement in Pharmaceutical industry.
·Time management & organizational skills &MS Office
