 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Contribute to the development of new and existing poultry vaccines through membership in project teams, as appropriate to the role and required by the business;
2. Perform experiments independently in the realm of virology / bacteriology and clinical trials;
3. Conduct microbiological analytical tests to identify microbiological characteristics in phenotype & genotype;
4. Apply advanced technical and functional knowledge to the design of experiments for the development of poultry vaccines;
5. Write protocols, reports, and technical documents suitable for regulatory submission in a timely manner;
6. Lead or attend develop, validate and transfer assays & manufacture processes;
7. Train/supervise junior staffs, such that they perform as expected;
8. Participate in the non-project activities to ensure compliant and smooth lab operation;
9. Actively contribute to team discussions.

Requirements
1. Attention to details; team player; good organizing skills and ability to communicate in English.
2. Scientific expertise gained through either a master degree in a relevant field (Virology / bacteriology, Veterinary Science, Immunology or other relevant disciplines) or several years of direct experience in poultry vaccine development.
3. Ability to apply clinical and scientific knowledge to the development of veterinary vaccines.
4. Ability to collate and present study data.
5. Ability to prioritize tasks of low to medium complexity.
6. Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required.
