Execution Powerhouse
· Manages or contributes to projects in support of the Maintenance strategy in the Wellness Category.
· Formulation & Process development / understanding.
· Designs experiments and carries out scientific work with an awareness of state-of-the-art technology.
· Exercises a wide degree of technical sophistication in accomplishing assigned objectives and project milestones under rapidly changing circumstances
· Participates and may lead in general problem solving or lead problem solving initiatives
· Looks for innovative and better ways of doing things; actively looks to eliminate non-value-added steps out of processes and procedures
· Ensures all work is conducted in accordance with written procedures (e.g. quality and safety), methods & batch documents, etc.
Maintains precise experimental records and issues reports at project milestones.Knowledge of Chinese regulations, Medical / Safety / Tox considerations, understanding of materials, CMC · Develops strong, collaborative relationships with contractors and AS&T to help facilitate completion of outsourced support activity
Ensures all work is always conducted following good scientific practice and Good Manufacturing Practice (where required).span> Growth Mindset
Maintains awareness of scientific literature to assist work progression and understanding. Highlights own training needs and working with manager develop a training plan and achieve training goals. · Acts as mentor/coach for junior development scientists
Trains self and others in new technology and laboratory responsibilities (including coaching, mentoring and elements of personal development). Develops knowledge of regulations impacting areas of work (e.g. EP/USP/ICH)Build relationships within cross-functional partners to deliver maintenance programsspan> Consumer and Customer-Obsessed
Participate in consumer engagement research to understand the category and needsCollaborates with Consumer Understanding and Sensory scientists and contributes to the development of consumer-driven innovation Knowledge/ Education / Previous Experience Required
