Job Description
· Independently provide the scientific designs and solutions to complex synthesis support the research and development of API in different stages with high quality.
· Fast delivery including chemical synthesis, training, reporting and coordination within the project team.
· Efficient communication among the cross functional teams to ensure the project success and customer satisfaction.



Duties & Responsibilities
Independently design and perform experiments on innovative route design, process research and development to ensure agile and practical deliverables.Aim at optimizing and developing value-added chemical processes to enable later scale-up and manufacturing of APIs or intermediates.Identify and implement innovative techniques/ technologies for solving challenging problems, enhancing efficiency and scientific competence based on literature research, consultation and collaboration with peers.Effective communication and documentation of the projects within the project team in both verbal and written forms.Train, supervise and develop junior scientists as project leaderComply with applicable regulations and performs all work in a safe manner. Maintain proper records in accordance with SOPs and policies. Demonstrate corporate and CoC culture (Agility, value through innovation, can do attitude, craft-*** spirits, et.al).

Requirements:
PhD with 2+ years (or MSc with 4+ years or Bachelor's degree with 7+ years) in organic chemistry, pharmaceutical or relevant experience.Demonstrate strong background of synthetic organic chemistry with scientific records and experience of route design, selection and optimization. Experience with total synthesis is highly preferred.Ability to work in a team environment; willing to sharing ideas and good at asking constructive questions; provide training and guidance to laboratory personnel; take the ownership as project leader in absence of the supervisor.Proactively learning, sharing and application knowledge in new area or technologiesExcellent interpersonal and strong communication skills (technical writing and verbal communication/presentation).

Experience with high throughput screening, biocatalysts, flow chemistry, Design of Experiment (DOE).
