Responsibilities:
Serveasthetechnicalexperttoleadtheformulationgroup
Abilitytomanagemultipleconcurrentprojectsindependentlyand/orcoordinateactivitieswithteammembers
Understandrelationshipbetweenchemicalstructureofrawmaterialsandfinalsystemproperties
Contributetoproblemsolvingeffortsrelatedtonewandexistingformulationsystems
Deliverhighqualityresultsontime
Stayuptodatewithcustomerneeds,industrytrends,andstateofthearttechnology
Communicateexternallytobuildstrongsupplierandcustomerrelationships
Requirements:
BSorMSinChemistry,ChemicalEngineering,PolymerScience,orrelateddiscipline
Atleastfouryearsofpractical,hands-onexperienceincoatingsandormaterialdesign,formulation(waterborne,solvent-borne,epoxies,urethanes,andnovelsystems),application,andcharacterization
FluentinEnglishoralandwrittencommunication
Stronginvestigative,analytical,andproblemsolvingskills
Proficiencywithstatisticaldesignofexperimentsandanalysisofexperimentaldata
Experienceinbusinessdevelopmentandproposalwritingisaplus
