ProcessPurchaseOrders(POs):confirm/obtainpriceanddeliveryinformationfromsuppliers,placePOsandresolveproblemsofvaryingcomplexityrequiringinterfacewithclients,suppliers,andsourcinglines.Commodities/categoriesgenerallyinclude:SalesandMarketing,MRO,Indirect,FeeforService,ProfessionalServices,ConstructionServices,ITHardware/Software/Services,etc.EnsurecompliancetoGlobalPolicyforInteractionwithHealthcareProfessionals(GPIHP)andForeignCorruptPracticesAct(FCPA)procedures.ProvideProcurementHelpdesksupport.Supportcomplexproblemresolution.ExpeditePOsasrequired

KeyAccountabilities:

OrderPlacement
?Planownworkdaywithminimalsupervision,includingdeadlines
?ReceivecomplexAribarequisitions,prioritizeandsetuppurchaseordersonsoftwaresystemssuchasAribaincombinationwithfinancialsystemssuchasSAP,forcomplexandroutineordersorforcritical/rushordersasassigned.
?Confirm/obtainpriceanddeliveryinformationfromsupplier.
?SendPOsviaAribaASN,FAX,printandemailwhenapplicable.
?ExpeditePOsasrequired.
?Contactinternalcustomerstoclarifyorprovideinformationasnecessarysuchastoobtainacceptablesubstituteproductorsourcinginformation.
?Obtaininformationfromorfollowupwithsupplierstocompleteorderasnecessary.
?UtilizeprocurementsoftwaresystemssuchasAribaandSAPtothefullestextent.
?Ensurecommodity,contractandpreferredsuppliercompliance.
?EnsureGPIHP/FCPAcompliance.
?CompleteprocurementjustificationformforPOsfinancialthresholdsdefinedbymarketandinaccordancewithCP102.
?LiaisewithotherPurchasingpersonneltoensuresmoothdeliveryofbusinesstransactions.
?DealingwithProcurementrelatedinquiries(supplierandclient),addressingorredirectingasappropriate.
?Undertakelowlevelbuying(possiblyunderthedirectionofotherprocurementcolleagues).

ProblemResolution
?ResolvepurchaseorderdiscrepanciesasidentifiedonMatchQueueExceptionReport(MQE);implementpermanentsolutionstopreventrecurrence.
?Correctthepurchaseorderorresolveissueworkingwiththesupplier,internalcustomer,orothersasapplicable.
?Resolvequalityorserviceissueswithappropriateperson;escalatetoappropriatecontactwhennecessary.
?Informsupervisorofunusualproblemssuchasnumerousbackordersoragrowthinproblemresolutionissues.
?Categorizeandmaintainrecordofproblemtypes.

ProcurementHelpdesk
?Onarotationalbasis,supportProcurementHelpdeskactivities:respondtocustomertelephone,faxandemailcommunicationspromptlyandcourteously.
?Identifiesandprovidesimmediateresolutiononinternalcustomerissuesutilizingexistingtoolsandsystems.TriagemorecomplexissuestoappropriateProcurementrepresentativeorotherresponsiblecontact.
?Implementapprovedprocessimprovementsresultinginincreasedcustomersatisfaction.

Qualifications
Education/Experience
?RequiresUniversityDegree
?Requires2-3yearsexperienceofbusinessrolesimilarity,or1-2yearsofonthejobtrainingwithProcurementprocesses,administration,terminology,categoryknowledge,andadvancederrorresolutionmethods.
Skills/Abilities
?Strongcomputerskills.Excellentinterpersonalskills,wellorganized,attentivetodetail.
?FluentinThai,EnglishandMandarinChinese
