JobResponsibilities

ZaiLaboratoryseeksindividualswithexperienceinMolecularBiologyand/orProteinBiochemistrytoprovidescientificandtechnicalsupportinitsinternaldiscoveryprogramsincancerandautoimmunediseases.Scientistinthisrolewillworkcloselywithinvitroandinvivopharmacology.
Specificresponsibilitiesinclude:

?Workindependentlyorasateammemberinaspecificproject-relevantarea.
?Performconstructdesign,molecularcloning,smallscaleproteinexpressionandaffinitypurification
?Supportantibodyphagelibraryconstructionandantibodyselection
?Cultureandmaintaincellculturesforproteinexpression
?Interpret,analyze,trouble-shootingresults
?Presentdatatomanagementandteam
?Communicatewithexternalresearchgroups.

Qualifications,Skills&Experience

?MSorPhDinrelevantareaofresearch.
?Backgroundknowledgeinmolecularbiologyandproteinpurificationismandatory.
?Experienceinphagedisplayandantibodyselectionandscreeningishighlydesired.
?Experiencewithcellculture,transfection,antibodydiscoveryispreferred
?Experienceininvitroassaydevelopmentisdesired
?Detail-oriented,withexcellentorganizationalandrecord-keepingskillsandcapabilitytomulti-taskisessential.
?EffectivewrittenandverbalcommunicationskillsinbothChineseandEnglisharerequired.
