JobResponsibilities:
ZaiLaboratoryseeksindividualswithexperienceinoncologyand/orimmunologytoprovidescientificandtechnicalleadershipinitsinternaldiscoveryprogramsincancerandautoimmunediseases.Scientistinthisrolewillworkcloselywithantibodydiscovery,invitroandinvivopharmacology.

Specificresponsibilitiesinclude:
Workindependentlyorasateammemberinaspecificproject-relevantarea.Develop,performandinterpretinvitroandexvivoimmunologyassays,particularlyT,macrophageandNKcell-relatedassays.Culture,maintain,andcharacterizecellsformoleculeinteractionandfunction.Interpret,analyze,trouble-shootingresultsPresentdatatomanagementandteamCommunicatewithexternalresearchgroups.Mayhaveresponsibilitytomanageortrainjuniorscientists
Qualifications,Skills&Experience
PhDorMSwithatleast2yearsofindustryexperienceinrelevantareaofresearch.Backgroundknowledgeincancerbiologyand/orcancerimmunologyismandatory.Extensiveexperienceinassaydevelopmentinsomeorallofthefollowingareas:FACS,ELISAs,cellproliferation,cellularcytotoxicity,immunecellisolationfromwholebloodortissues,andotherfunctionalassaysforthestudyingofcancerbiologyand/orimmunology.Previousexperienceintargetvalidation,screening,andcharacterizationofbiologicleadsispreferredExperiencewithantibodydiscoveryispreferredExcellentinterpersonalskillswiththeabilitytointeracteffectivelywithpeople,internallyandexternally,arerequired.Detail-oriented,withexcellentorganizationalandrecord-keepingskillsandcapabilitytomulti-taskisessential.Excellentoralandwrittencommunicationskillsandcapabilitytoeffectivelypresentscientificdataandconceptstointernationalstandardsisrequired.EffectivewrittenandverbalcommunicationskillsinbothChineseandEnglisharerequired.
