Principle Roles & Responsibilities / AccountabilitiesContribute to analyzing, interpretation, and communication of complex RWD. Author or contribute to study reports, publications, and presentations. Serve as data analyst to collect and prioritize requirements for developing analytic solutions for data from real world settings.Provide technical expertise in conjunction with statistician, real world data scientist, medical science and other stakeholders to lead in house analytics projects and perform internal and external data mining, secondary data analysis and digital solution support etc. Perform programming, testing, mapping, and documentation in accordance with programming standards and validation procedures, ensuring quality and timeliness of related deliverables from clinical trials/studiesContributes to local and sub functional working groups and initiatives as needed. Act as internal consult to provide technical expertise on the RWD related basics. Provide internal/external training.Participates in the local functional/cross-functional implementation of best practices and process improvement initiativesMaintain process standards across the therapeutic areas according to Roche SOPs, NMPA requirements and GPP guidelines.Qualification and ExperienceEducation/QualificationsCollege degree or above in statistics, bio-statistics, or other related major or equivalent and entry-level working experienceKnowledgeable of theories and principles and how to apply them within his or her discipline/sub functionAdequate understanding of business of his or her sub function2-3 years’ experience to work as programmer or data analyst in pharmaceutical company or Clinical Research Organization is preferredJob Required CompetenciesAbility to work under guidance with general instructions on new assignmentsProficiency in technical applications including SAS and R, and applying existing and developing technical skills to complete assignments and tasksAbility to collaborate effectively with stakeholdersWritten and verbal communication skills, including presentation skillsTravel Frequency <25%
